According to the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a child’s first dental visit should before the 1st birthday or within 6 months after appearance of the first baby tooth.

Routine Checkups and Preventative Dentistry

Our routine checkups include examination, dental cleaning, and fluoride treatment. Regular dental appointment could identify the dental problem early before they become severe. During the examination, we would use digital x-rays to check your teeth and surrounding tissues for diagnosis of cavities or any underlying concerns that are developing beyond our naked eyes.

In your appointment, our team would also provide you tips and recommendations in brushing, flossing, and rinsing based on your oral health condition.

What is Fissure Sealant?

Pits and fissures are the natural anatomy of your teeth. They are also the sheltered niches for bacterial proliferation because toothbrush bristles are too wide to fit into these areas, making complete plaque removal impossible. A fissure sealant is a dental material that could place into pits and fissures to provide an impervious barrier so to prevent caries development. The sealant procedure is quick and pain-free. It would definitely benefit you and your children.
